    dont know about im all ears.

    3.5 mm port vs headset adapter port

    Yes, they do perform the same function.

    The
    adapter     was created for the original Xbox One controllers that didn't have a 3.5mm headset jack.

    Does the Turtle Beach Stealth 500x Headset work with the Xbox One S?

    I used the headset with the original Xbox One and just got an Xbox One S and can't seem to connect the headset to it. Wondering if I need some kind of adapter or a different headset than the 500x. Thanks!

    Bought a third headset, ran straight through 3.5 Jack and we're back online. Guess just bad luck I purchased a broken headset trying to fix a broken one.

    Thanks for the reply. Please review the post by XBF Jasmine. "Since the headset is not working on one but works with the other it could be that there's an issue with the controller's 3.5mm jack for the headset."

    Xbox one does not start up game.

    If it is an original xbox one there is a good chance the disk drive is broken, as the original xbox one has a slight design flaw causing most xbox one disc drives to stop working over time.
