    Greetings,

    My brother was playing a game on our original Xbox One (bought in 2015) this afternoon, when suddenly he started complaining the game went unresponsive and then he turned the console off.

    After a little while, I saw the Xbox-button-light blinking every other second and I decided, for reasons I cannot recall, to force it to turn off, by holding the power-button for 10 seconds. It did go off.

    The problem, though, is that when I tried to turn it back on a few hours later, it simply would not show the startup green screen, neither any error message. Actually, the TV doesn't even recognize it is plugged via HDMI.

    Little after I started googling for this problem, I discovered that when I turned the Xbox off, it was probably updating its system... and I mercilessly interrupted it.

    I tried to press the Bind + Eject buttons combination to access the Troubleshooting menu, to no avail. Then, I tried following this

    link     and downloaded and tried to install each one the files given on this guide, again without any success.

    After hours of searching, my only hope is that someone here could help me. Does anyone have any ideas or tips on how to solve this issue?

    I've also had this issue. Ever since the update the Xbox One does not recognize my "yes" after I tell it to turn off.

    When i had this problem the tech team just kept telling me to factory reset (keep games). It didn't really work, but 2 days later i tried factory reset (keeping games) and it work. All i remembered was the tech team taking a lot of info from me, so i don't
    know if the fixed it somehow. I know its not much of a fix but its an idea. Oh and i was on an OG xbox one.
