    Original Xbox One Controller Serial Number Has Worn Off


    I have had this Original Model Xbox One CoD AW Sentinel Task Force system and controller for a few years now, and I never really noticed when or how the serial number on the controller had worn off. The barcode is half gone, and the numbers are entirely gone. Is there another way to find the serial number for the controller without an open claim on the xbox itself? At this point the system is out of date and out of warranty, and I’m trying to just log the serial numbers for personal records.

    Unfortunately this reply does not help me at all. I stated that it is out of warranty, and I cannot register it for a repair without the serial number anyway, even if it was within 90 days of purchase. That being said I did NOT buy this system brand new. It was used previously. So I also do not have the original box for the system either.

    I just need to know if I’m SOL on figuring out how to find the serial number.
