    Original Xbox One Controller Problems


    Hello.

    A couple days ago, I lost chat ability on the Xbox One controller. I've been trying to trouble shoot this and have had no luck. I can hear game sound but cannot chat.

    1) I have updated my controller.

    2) I have reseated the adapter

    3) Power Cycled Xbox One

    4) Reseated all connectors

    Nothing. It works fine on the 360. Also, when I start a party, it says it can't find a mic for me. So is the adapter malfunctioning? I can no longer hear audio beeps when I try to alter game and chat sound ratio.

    Xbox Elite Controller Replacment

    I was offered a one time replacement for my elite controller which was having major drift problems on the right thumbstick, shipped my controller in and received a defective one, it has worst problems than my original one and now xbox support refuses to
    replacement it and pretty much said tough luck.

    Anyone have any suggestions on how I can get this resolved? I just want a working controller!

    Well what kind of controller is this is it the original Xbox one controller or 3.5mm controller? If it is the original Xbox one controller it might be the controller malfunctioning with your Xbox because they are outdated.

    Apologies. My brand new One is 5-days old and both mics have never worked, despite the fact they work fine on iPhone. I have troubleshooted everything too, but she's no good. If you find a solution please respond to my barren thread. I'm on the cusp of getting
    the whole $1,200 I spent refunded. From what I understand there is no current solution.

    Sorry to hear it. You'll need to set up a repair of the controller by first registering it with your console using the s/n number in the battery case. After that you can set up the repair request for the controller.

    Same problem here.. Xb1 S controller randomly disconnects, original xbox one controller has no issues with xb1 S console...
