Original Xbox One and LG27GL850

Hi,

I’m currently looking at buying the LG27 GL850 monitor for when i can eventually get hold of an Xbox Series X.

I currently own the original Xbox One and was wondering due to it running at 60hz with no option to run at 120hz will my picture quality be bad?

As you can tell I’m not that clued up but any help is appreciated.

hz does not affect picture quality as such only the smoothness by allowing the system to show more frames per second. with the series x you will get the same quality or better depending on the game.

By original Xbox do you mean the original Xbox one or the Xbox original (the one with the duke)

I'm afraid that's just not possible on the original. It doesnt have the hardware capable of 4k or even up scaling.

Actually most of the power bricks for the Xbox One (VCR model) will run in most countries. Check the label on the back, and if it says: Input: AC 100-240V, Then you just have to change the power lead cable.

Otherwise, yes. You can just replace the power brick for a EU version.
