Original XBOX One - a brick now!

I don't use my Xbox one that much. I got it for the kids who live with their mom when they first came out for Christmas. I think it has been a couple of months since it has been used.

Last night I attempted to turn on the console. It made the start beeps and then sat there. All I got was a black screen. I am not sure the video actually initialized. No red lights, No error on the screen, no beep codes... nothing. I searched the internet
(including xbox.xom) and tried many "fixes", all of which failed to resolve the issue.

So, there was a March update I read. And it messed up many consoles. Add mine to it. My Xbox One obviously out of warranty. But it was working fine 50-90 days ago and has been in standby since. And now, It is bricked. So, what could have happened in the
time of its last use and when I turned it in yesterday? Yup, the update! What I HIGHLY suspect is that update!! Did I initiate the update? NO! Did MS initiate that update? YES! Whose at fault?

The only change or activity has been the March update. Forcing updates that result in bricking the device passes the fix cost to MS. Period!

I want my Xbox One replaced ASAP! Out of Warranty or not.

Xbox One Power Supply Issues

Do you have the original Xbox One console or the Xbox One S or X with the power supply built in?

For the original Xbox One, you can purchase a replacement power supply from outside sources such as amazon or eBay.

For an official Microsoft power brick from Amazon:

We apologize for any inconveniences. Let's have you go through the No Power troubleshooting article if you haven't already and follow the steps accordingly. We also recommend
attempting to turn on the Xbox One using a different outlet in another room or different HDMI cable if you are able to test that. If attempting
all of the steps still has your Xbox One out of commission, then unfortunately, you'll want to consider reaching out to the Online Service Center to explore having your console repaired or
replaced.
