Original Xbox One 60hz?

The original Xbox One is a 60Hz console.

You can't just buy a German power supply for the original xbox one from the USA as that will literally make the console explode.

The xbox one S has a universal power supply for 110v 60hz AND 220v 50hz so you just need a plug adapter for that to work but the regular xbox one will need a transformer.

For the xbox one original you will need a power converter from 110v 60hz to 220v 50hz. Some adapters only do the voltage and not the frequency (50hz/60hz) so make sure you get the right one.

So for the xbox one S you only need a plug converter but you will need a power converter for the xbox one original.

I bought my Xbox one original in south africa but have moved to the USA, if I purchase a power supply in the USA will it work

OK to use in a country with a different voltage and all you will need
to do is obtain a suitable power cable.

2 things: Are you at the right Hz setting (50 or 60?) Like, when I put my stuff at 60Hz, things get torn up. At 50 there is no problem.

And as @irb said; the original xbox one does not support 4k. You would need an xbox one s or x for that.

You likely won't get 60fps/60Hz at 4K with your old original Xbox One cable. The original Xbox one only has an HDMI 1.4 port and it's highly likely the Microsoft supplied HDMI for the original Xbox One is bandwidth limited to the HDMI 1.4 port. This means 30Hz at 4K and you can pretty much forget about HDR.

To get the best from the new console you'll need to use the supplied HDMI cable which is designed for HDMI 2.1 bandwidth.
