    Original xbox not turning on


    So about a week ago my xbox one seemed to turn off after a while of playing on it the light on the power box went out and would come back on so i bought a replacement from gamestop and its flashing from red to green and when i try to power on my xbox it
    makes a faint start up sound and stops

    If you used the power cord from your father's console and it worked then you'll need to get a new power cord for the console. You can try your local gaming store or The Microsoft Store for more help with that.

    Sorry to hear you are having problems with your Xbox Console. Now this is the Original Xbox console or is it the first generation Xbox One console?

    If this is the Original Xbox Console, there is very limited troubleshooting we can try and it looks like you have gone through it already.
