    Hard drive

    I have an XBOX360 arcade version, so I can't play original XBOX games on it. If I purchase an external XBOX360 hard disk drive and connect it, will I be able to play original XBOX games?

    Wouldn't work. Ye olde Xbox titles run off an emulator which is only on the physical hard drives, no hard drive = no emulator = no playing of ye olde Xbox games.

    Certain models of the Playstation 3 worked the same way for disc based versions of old Playstation 2 games before the emulator was taken out to cut costs.

    Hey there Rab14

    Looks like this error code could be coming up for one of the following reasons

    • The game isn’t supported on the Xbox 360 console.
    • You have a storage device other than an official Xbox 360 Hard Drive.
    • You don’t have all the necessary Xbox 360 console software updates.
    • Game saves from an original Xbox console can’t be transferred to an Xbox 360 console.

    When checking for updates on the Console, Follow "Solution 7" on
    How to update your Xbox 360    .

    This will rollback all updates and reinstall the latest update on the Console.
