Original Xbox games no longer start

Discus and support Original Xbox games no longer start in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I now have three downloaded original Xbox games on my Xbox 360.     Original Xbox games no longer start


    I now have three downloaded original Xbox games on my Xbox 360. I've had GTA: San Andreas and Sid Meier's Pirates for awhile and was able to play them. I just downloaded Star Wars: KOTOR. Now none of those games will start. What are my options?

    MY original xbox 360 will not play my original xbox games why

    Hey there Hellboy! Are you having trouble with your Original Xbox console, or playing Original Xbox games on your Xbox 360 console? We no longer support the Original Xbox console or hardware, but if you have trouble on your 360 console, please start here

    The games should still start up. XBOX Live functionality will no longer operate as Live for the original XBOX was shut down April 15, 2010.[quote user="EvilTwinGX"]The other problem too is because of when MS took down their servers
    for XBox Live support on the original XBox[/quote]Not exactly.To add new features to Live required discontinuing support for original consoles. It wasn't so much they took down the servers as they wanted to extend functionality on the Live
    platform in such a way that the old XBOX would be incompatible.

    Backwards compatibility request

    Hi,

    Unfortunately this is highly unlikely, there are two reasons for this. The first is that the BC program for Xbox 360 games has been suspended, we don't know if it will start again. There may also be an issue with the license as the original developer no longer exists.

    live.xbox.com/.../History     and the game should be there if you bought it on that account, then you can click add to queue.
