Original Xbox game purchased

I just recently bought the game Psychonauts on my Xbox 360 it cost me ten dollars. When I went to play it my xbox went back to the dashboard and it said that I need a hard drive to play it. I do not have a hard drive and don't intend on buying one so I can't
play the game but no where on the page for the game did it say that I needed a hard drive to play it and I didn't think I did because I've bought other games before on my Xbox 360 and could play them just fine. I feel as if I've been cheated out of my money
because there was no worrying that I needed a hard drive.

Are you having issues playing any other Xbox Original games? Also, where was your HDD purchased from, and was it purchased new?

This is my 4th Xbox and not the original that I purchased the games on.

All Xbox Original games require an official Xbox 360 hard drive. It may not have been stated in the game download but it's common knowledge, especially for those with higher gamerscores. You can read more about it on the support pages.

Sorry, but all original Xbox games require an official MS brand hard drive in order to run due to the emulation software required to run the games. You can try contacting support about a refund, but everything in the marketplace does state that there are
no refunds so there is no guarantee they can get you one. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada or

Your payment method needs to be valid and allow transactions from Microsoft. Could your bank be blocking the purchase on their end?

Have you tried removing your current payment option entirely and then reauthorizing it with the updated information?

It seems that the game is definitely backwards compatible so I'd make sure everything with your card is properly updated and good to go with a purchase. I had small typos with my cards before yhat I had to double check and just redo from the start. I also
had an odd glitch with region settings that needed fixing so check those in your profile!

When i try to purchase it, it has a link to change my address but wont let me change it to canada ,it just has american states listed and then when i just try to put any old state in and continue it says you have found a glitch.
