    Original Xbox game not working.


    So I wanted to play Star wars Battlefront 2 on my xbox 360, but it won't work. All it says is error, try downloading again. I looked at this page, Games : Top Issues and
    everything it says is good, I have a hard drive and the game is on the list. I just want to play my game.

    Considering how cheap it is and it's through a third party seller, not Amazon, it is highly likely it is a knock-off. If you can get access to another one, try playing another compatible game just to make sure it's not the game itself. Otherwise, it's definitely
    a hard drive issue.

    Taking another look at the pictures, looking at the packaging for it, it's definitely a knock-off. You would have to purchase an official hard drive in order to play the game.

    If it is an official hard drive then you could have a problem with the xbox dashboard software. You might be able to fix it by following the instructions here

    What console do you have and what hard drive? Did the hard drive come with the console or was it purchased separately? If it was purchased separately, did you purchase it brand new or was it used/from a third party like ebay?

    Make sure you're logged into Xbox Live when you boot up the game. Clear your cache just in case the download didn't download properly the first time.

    I have the Xbox 4 gb slim, and it did not come with the hard drive. The hard drive was also brand new.

    If you've bought your drive off of eBay changes are it's fake, test other Xbox original titles. If none work, you've got a fake drive and out of luck.

    It was purchased new off of Best buy, and it was the 500 Gb one.

    Ok well, try another Xbox Original title. Make sure that your HDD is detected by the console, as well as making sure you're logged into Xbox Live when you start your game. Clear you cache, if that doesn't work then delete all updates from your console by
    doing LB + RB + X twice on the storage devices screen. Try downloading it then.

    Did you clear your system cache's three times? After that, restart your Xbox and try to boot up your Spider-Man 2 game. Try booting up the game in these scenarios:

    • Try booting it up with one hard drive and then another hard drive.
    • Try booting it up without signing into your profile.
    • If possible, try it on another Xbox 360.
