Original Xbox Game not working anymore

About 6 months ago I bought Mega Man Anniversary Collection. I plugged it into my Xbox 360 Slim model with an official 250GB Microsoft HDD and played it for a couple hours. Now, 6 months later, I plug my game into my Xbox 360 and I get the error:

The only difference between 6 months ago and now is that I am using an HDMI chord instead of VGA Cable. Same console, same hard drive. (Hard drive was bought from GameStop, whether it is official or not should not be in question as the game did at
one point run on the Hard Drive.)

Kinnect games

went to play Fable Journey for kinnect on 360 and disc isn't reading and haven't played it in a few years. is it the system, disc, or are original kinnect games not working for 360 anymore due to Xbox one being out?

 

Original Xbox Game not Working

Considering how cheap it is and it's through a third party seller, not Amazon, it is highly likely it is a knock-off. If you can get access to another one, try playing another compatible game just to make sure it's not the game itself. Otherwise, it's definitely
a hard drive issue.

Taking another look at the pictures, looking at the packaging for it, it's definitely a knock-off. You would have to purchase an official hard drive in order to play the game.

 

Have you tried switch back to the AV cables to see if the game works?

 

Depending on the video mode, or even the type of output (AV/Composite vs HDMI), some games just won't boot. All you can do is try to play around with your output settings in Settings (Switch between all of them and try to boot the game), and if that doesn't
work then go back to your AV, cable. Likely, you'll just be able to switch to 480p and boot the game then. Before you ask, no there's nothing you can do to work around this.
