Original Xbox game not starting even after latest game update.

Hello everyone. I am facing an issue with an original Xbox game, ''Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex.''. I downloaded the latest original game update from:

http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-on-other-devices/original-console/play-original-games . I used my USB flash drive to transfer it on xbox and followed the steps directly. My console was updated as it should but still the game is not recognised even though
it is included in the list with the updated games. What should I do?

Cannot play SHADOW the hedgehog

Hi,

have 100 % the same issue (only difference: for game Simpsons Hit & Run). When "starting" I get pop up saying

"This original XBOX game is not supported on your XBOX 360 Console. An update is possibly available. ...." (translated from original german text).

The subsequent update (after connecting to internet) did not change anything ...

Do you get the same text ?

 

Mincraft Achievement not unlocking: Passing the Time

Ok, so I have tried to log on to Minecraft multiple times since I last posed here in the hopes that it would unlock instantly like it did for my friend, but I have gotten no results. Played in my original world that I have had since I bought the game, made
multiple other worlds, and even went to my friend's world. None of this has worked, even after downloading the latest update. Honestly starting to question whether this will ever get fixed.

 

Do you have an official Xbox hard drive installed on your console? A hard drive is required to play original games.

 

I tried to play The Elder Scrolls III Morrowind from a disc and Sid Meier`s Pirates from my hard drive. With the latest updates from Xbox Live. Neither worked giving me an error to go to xbox.com/support. I haven't been able to fix the problem. I have an
Xbox 360 Slim 4gb with a 120 gb hard drive that was purchased later and inserted from the slot in the bottom.

 

Dress - There are no official 120gb hard drives for the Slim. Only the 250gb and 320gb are available for that version of the console. You would need to purchase an official hard drive in order to be able to play the games.
