original xbox game doesn't work! please update!

please can xbox create an update for these original xbox games to be supported on my xbox 360, i would really appreciate it!

Time Splitter future perfect, Spider man 2, Spiderman and fifa street 2 as i have tried all of them on my xbox 360 and it doesnt seem to work, i have been considering buying a PS4 but if xbox can solve this issue il stay with xbox!

Original Xbox Games

I currently have an Xbox 360 and I was wondering if I can play original Xbox games on it. When I insert an original game it tells me my system does not support the game. Is there an update available for this or doesn't original Xbox games work in the Xbox
360 period?

Xbox update doesn't work

can't play on my Xbox one at all as soon as I get on it comes up with it needs an update to run the consol and I pressed retry but the button doesn't even work

nothing would be done now, the whole backwards thing was dropped eventually as emulation was hard to do and people were enjoying XBLA more plus the big hitters Microsoft were releasing on the console.

Obviously the HD remakes of games later on started to take off which fully cancelled the backwards list ever expanding but who knows Crytek are now in trouble financially especially in the UK and considering the UK team originally made Timesplitters and
still own the rights under Crytek we may see a Timesplitters 4

or who knows hopefully the team leave and return to there original home from the Goldeneye days called RARE

Do you mean that on original xbox HD there is a firmware/software to play orginal xbox games? I've always thought all software needed for original xbox emulation was in the dashboard.

The other HD I tried is from the same online store, so if you are right is obvious the game still doesn't work.

This is the first xbox original I tried to run and is the only one I have.

I'll try with another HD or with another original xbox game.

I'll keep you updated.

It will say that, but unfortunately this game is not backwards compatible. The BC update is for all of the games that have been made BC. So, once you get the update and try your game again, if it doesn't work it is not backwards compatible. If that makes
sense.

The problem with third party drives is that they tend to lack the 2GB partition required to play original XBOX games. You can try a full system update, but if that doesn't work then the only recourse would be to buy an official HDD.

Tried deleting and reinstalling the game as well as all the updates, and still doesn't work... Can someone please help because if this game doesn't work I want a refund...
