original xbox console & Minecraft

Discus and support original xbox console & Minecraft in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; My son is a huge fan of minecraft.     My son is a huge fan of minecraft. Can someone help me out as I am trying to find a version of minecraft that can be played on the original xbox console? (not xbox 360) Does one exist?

    Minecraft Console versions were essentially the same game but for anyone that owns the Xbox One edition was given a free updated version within the last few months I think. This version I can only describe as the unified version that is cross platform and has a slightly different front end UI that looks more suited to a PC setup, once in the game the experience is the same. I think other consoles will eventually get this free updated version to bring it inline with others and bring the 'better together' cross platform option to all except the PS4 as Sony aren'y getting onboard with it.

    I brought my daughter the Xbox One S console bundle for Xmas which includes Minecraft with some cosmetic packs and Minecraft Story mode Season 1. When I set it up I realised the bundled Minecraft is the new unified version which initially I thought would put my daughter off due to the main menu and new game UI but she got the hang of it quickly and like I said, once in game its essentially the same.

    You could try installing linux on the original xbox and then seeing if the linux version of Minecraft would run.

    I doubt it would be possible to play Minecraft on the original Xbox. I know Minecraft seems like a small game, but in reality it's pretty huge. The 360 can't even handle the big maps like the PC version can, so if it was even possible it'd be a really small
    map.

    You could get the classic running on a P4 or Any CPU with MMX/SSE Instructions, which the XB does have. Gpu? any GPU with full OpenGL 1.2 support. So kind of yes for Open Gl but it isn't officially supported by ms with drivers etc etc

    You would need some serious tinkering

    Just play it on the 360/xb1, PC, Mobile, PS3/PS4 if none of them options are available get with the times i'm afraid...

    He could go mad and try and install Android x86 on the Original Xbox, then see if the pocket edition of Minecraft would run.
