    Original Xbox Backward Compatibility


    Hello Original Xbox Backward Compatibility :)

    I have been following the games announced closely and while many of them have been classics i have loved there is one in particular I have hoped to come back, Kung Fu Chaos.

    I'm no expert on what is required for the game to be revived but I was wondering if it is possible? I havn't played it since my Xbox broke and to be able to play this game again would probably be my new #1 reason for loving xbox.

    I know there will probably be license agreements for the music - i remember there being a lot of music and commentary - but the game itself probably doesn't need to be improved quality wise, that and I believe the company that made it was renamed to Ninja
    Theory and is now owned by Microsoft which should help.

    Looking for some hope on this, is there any chance we will see Chaos in the streets?

    Is it safe to assume that Microsoft will not add backwards-compatibility for regular XBox games (not 360)?

    I would NOT assume that Microsoft will not add backwards compatibility for the original Xbox to the Xbox One. This type of backwards compatibility is technically feasible. It would just cost Microsoft money and time to build it. If you want Microsoft to
    build it the best thing you can do is ask them to Original Xbox Backward Compatibility :)

    Actually you have a better chance to get this game reviewed if you post at the game's developer forums, for it is them who will decide if they want this title to be playable in the next gen

    Mercenaries is a Xbox Original game, I'm not sure if it can be played on the Xbox 360, some xbox original games are no longer compatible with Xbox 360 backward compatibility.

    I know that me personally I have a lot of original Xbox games that I wish were backwards compatible as well as a few 360 games that havnt became backwards compatible so honestly any original Xbox game they made backward compatible would be fine by me.
