Original gamertag is inaccessible & GLITCHED due to a inactive spaced version

Theres a problem when choosing my original gamertag. There's an inactive spaced/glitched version of the gamertag. It's blocking me from picking the original gamertag which is supposed to be available. It is an original gamertag out of the 1 million released
and is not migrating because of the duplicate.

This gamertag is inactive, glitched, and spaced out. The spaces are stopping it from migrating to xbox one acting as a roadblock. Its literally stuck and being wasted because of the blockage caused by the inactive glitched tag.

The support specialist i was speaking with provided me with a reference number to provide here.

Can't change my Gamertag at all..?

Once again an amazing original gamertag is wasted because dream is taken on an inactive spaced version. I just searched it. Its literally sitting there not being used in a spaced version. Please microsoft clean up these inactive spaced gts!!

its shows its released but in reality it is probably blocked by an inactive spaced version. Gamertag will not be usuable imo until the inactive spaced version is removed. Which i think microsoft should remove since the gamertag is being wasted.

 

Forum support cannot assist in this matter. Spaces in a GT would not stop it from being released should they choose to release it. It's possible the GT you want will not be release.

 

You not understanding. The gamertag is an original tag scheduled for release however once released there is already a duplicate tag on the 360 with spaces in between.

So 2 same gamertags cannot exist at once forcing the real original to be stuck in the release process.

The inactive spaced version of the tag is holding its place on the 360 and blocking the release of the actual original tag from the original xbox.

Does that make sense?

 

Spaced gamertags were created by people looking to steal OG Gamertags during the 360 era. They are glitched gamertags, basically cheating.

 

If the tag exists with spaces in it but is essentially the same tag, there is no way you will be able to get it.

 

Inactive spaced gamertags should be removed and released. They are inactive, 100 percent inactive place holding gamertags.

 

Even if they are released you would not be able to use it if the tag exists in another capacity on XBL. Regardless of capitalization and spacing the same tag would essentially already exist.

 

There are thousands and thousands of gamertags that were released yesterday that are not usable. Inactive spaced versions have made many OG Gamertags unusable.

 

That is why im saying those spaced versions "place holders" should be deleted if they are 100percent inactive

 

once those spaced versions that are there for no reason are removed a whole new pool of gamertags would be usable again. Talking about a ridiculous amount of gamertags that are being wasted!

 

Everyone has run into this problem repeatedly while claiming an xbox original gamertag. The system shows the tag is available/being released but its stuck in that state. Those gamertags are stuck in limbo so to speak. The inactive spaced versions are blocking
the transition of those gamertags.

 

Just a bit of question about this. How where you able to determine that the one that you wanted will be released on the first place? They never mentioned any list but just categories of what will be released.

was never included on the list? Well, just my thought about this because a lot of players complaining over this matter.
