    i have taken apart and cleaned the xbox and cleared the cache.. screen still freezes.. did install a used hard drive with more memory after cleaning and it worked for a while, cleared the cache and continues to freeze

    Does your XBOX360 freeze?

    I faced screen freeze problem 2 or 3 times, and it was because of the faulty game discs. But there are some other reasons that make your screen freeze while playing. Overheating is a most common reason. You may have a look in this article that explains it- Xbox Freezing Solutions.

    its one of the original models, yes it freezes while playing, saying that, i havn't just left it running on the dashboard

    Game remakes or anniversary editions

    I tried playing KOTOR on my 360 up to the point where you crash land on Taris and it would freeze my 360. KOTOR 2 does not freeze but has distorted audio issues. I ended up just buying an old second hand original xbox to play them again. A HD remake of both
    games for the 360 would be awesome with achievements.
