    Original 1600 pt XBOX LIVE codes not being honored


    I have a few 1600 pt XBOX LIVE codes ($20 value ea.) that I'm unable to redeem. I won them through the 7-Eleven Slurpee reward program when the original XBOX X was released. I've tried to redeem them per the instructions on the card, but I keep getting
    an error. They supposedly don't expire until 2025. What should I do?

    Hey I understand you're having trouble with some older Xbox Points codes. In August 2013, Microsoft Points were retired. Transactions on the Xbox now take place using your local currency.

    I would recommend
    Contacting Xbox Customer Support     to see if there are any options or information available regarding the codes you have.

    anybody who pre-ordered from the microsoft store...

    they said 10 days after the release. I shouldve went with young dom, the 1600 pts is what made me pre-order and the fact that the season pass is 1600 pts is awesome.
