Origin game not loading

    Origin game not loading


    Hi all,

    Ive been referred by the tech support because EA help centre have exhausted their suggestions on how to fix the issue.

    I have several games within Origin from the same developer and they all load. When I attempt to load Battlefield V it begins to load then I get a black screen and it returns to the game library in Origin. I have unistalled Origin, the game itself and reinstalled, cleared caches, reset graphics card settings and updated Windows and graphics card itself (RTX3060ti) and adjusted screen resolutions etc.

    Is there anything else I can try that is windows related for a PC with Windows 11 (im about to give up and just delete it)?

    Try the following

    look for the file "PROFSAVE_profile" in the folder that the game creates in the user's documents in Windows, and then open it with a text editor (the notepad works). change the value "1" to "0" and then Directx12 is deactivated and the game starts.

    let me know if it does or does not work.

    Is this happening only with Battlefield V buddy?
    Do you have a game pass subscription or the game was purchased directly from EA?

    Did you try the opposite with your graphics card driver? (Install a previous driver version)

    cant play original xbox games

    When I switched over from the original Xbox to Xbox 360, half my games didn't work because they were no longer compatible. This forum lists which games will work-

    support.xbox.com/.../play-original-games

    The other reason games may not load is lack of hard drive space - but the error messages you can get when playing original Xbox games can be slightly bizarre and lack sufficient information. You might want to make sure a regular 360 game is loading correctly
    before trying an original one.
