Ori and the will of the wisps - Error loading save

Hi everyone,

I've purchased Ori and the Will of the Wisps last week and finally downloaded it on my PC last saturday.

I played some hours saturday, some more sunday and everything went fine.

Until today, when I tried to load the save. Music started, the main character appeared on the screen with the usual interface arount it, but there was nothing else except a blue background and Ori falling eternaly in the center. When I tried to move or to
use competences, the character acts well until eventually it stopped 20 seconds later and the game crashed.

When I duplicate the save, the same thing happens. I can start a new game or try a challenge in this save, but it looks impossible to continue the main story where I left it yesterday.

I read on the internet that other players were experiencing difficulties and that a patch had been released, but my game seems up-to-date and I don't want to start again just to run into the same problem one more time.

Do you know if it's a well-known issue and if I should wait for an update that fix it, or should I just restart and hope everything will be alright?

Unfortunately, a lot of people are having these issues with downloading games, or downloads starting and then wiping out, back to 0%. In the last 1-2 weeks, many games and services have been having difficulty connecting and working. It's highly due to
the current situation worldwide of so many people staying home and being on Xbox, much more than usual. The services are overwhelmed and I've read of many, many games not working right now. Just keep trying, as they are working on it, but in the mean time
you may have to try another game until services are returned to normal.

My Xbox and PC have the same 'falling' issue.

I had a similar issue where I started the game on Xbox and then switched to PC and my save was corrupt. I uninstalled the game on PC and re downloaded it and it worked. Just throwing this out there. Good Luck!

Too bad I was going through this too, I already finished the game but there were a lot of bugs and crashes, I left a lot of things behind to do when I have an update to fix, until then, wait, good luck!

Hi Arjan,

There has been no update since I experienced this and I haven't restart a new game yet.

The "falling" issue still occured on my first save.
