Ori and the Blind Forest - Steering Issues

Good day,

lately I wanted to play Ori again, so I started it.

But right away it flicked true all option of the menue right away.

The Problem was easy identified:

Although I do not own a PC Controller the Game seems to belive there is one installed.

Probably because I played it on XBox 360 in the past.

How ever, by using the Mouse I went to the controller Menue to set the steering for using Keybord & Mouse instead.

When starting a new Game it at first still had the same problem but with the ESC-Menue I did the whole Steering change once again and it worked.

You might wonder what was the Issue if it was solved? Well here is where it gets realy bad.

After a coupple of hours I decided to play Ori a little more, so I started the game once again. With the same Steering issue right away.

But this time, I could try to change the input device as offten as I wanted, the game refused to stick with the changeed input device taking commands from an "non existent" controller instead (running left all the time.

How can I solve this issue, since I don't see how the game is playable this way.

It doesn't stick with the steering device changes if not a complete new game is started every time one wants to play, making any progress for naught.
