Ori and the Blind Forest: DE on Windows 10 & xBox One

In the Windows 10 Store the description says you can "enable cross save between Xbox One and Windows 10" by signing in with the same gamertag account.

I have read the support FAQ but cannot verify if I need to buy this game twice: first for use on my PC, and again for use on my xBox One, for a total of $39.98 instead of once for $19.99.

It does not say that it's a Play Anywhere title so I don't know.

Can anyone tell me for sure?

I would go with the assumption that unless it's already been announced as a Play Anywhere title that it won't be.

The announcement originally was any future games published by Microsoft would be Play Anywhere, but they amended it to be that any Microsoft published titles at E3 would be Play Anywhere.

To clarify, Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition is not part of the Play Anywhere promotion. So you would in fact need to purchase the game on Xbox One as well as Windows 10, if you wanted to play and use the same save file on the other platform.

I'm looking for the owner if I'm not mistaken, I downloaded it via code, but on the page I get a discount for gold members, could that be? anyway if I buy it from me as a new game or overwrite the old one?
