Ori and the Blind Forest can't load my game saves

Hi.

I bought Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition through Xbox app on Windows 10 PC a few weeks ago and it used to work just fine. But since yesterday night the game just won't load.

At the "Press any key" screen, most of the times nothing happens at all, and other times it shows a window saying "It's not possible to sync your data with the cloud right now", giving me 2 options: Try Again, which will fail and return to the same message,
or Play Offline, which will finally get me to the main menu, but with only empty slots where my game saves should be.

My internet connection is stable and the Xbox app network test says everything is ok.

How can I fix this and access my saved games?

Today I first heard about this game. It's a colorful action adventure platformer currently in development for the Xbox One and PC.
Both story and gameplay can be seen in this trailer. Looks fun!

Same problem here!

After playing for hours, everytime that I open the game on Windows 10, this message appears. And when I try the offline option, all my saves are gone.

Plus, the Xbox app itself shows my ingame progress, and seems like my saves are there, but I just can't get access to them at all.

And it's not a connection or hardware problem, since I haven't this kind of problem with Steam or Origin games.

 

I have the same issue: Infinite sync from xbox cloud in main menu (Windows 10)

It might also just infinitely sync, but not fail.

 

I'm also having the same problem. It can only be something on their side, since it worked fine 2 days ago.

 

Same problem here. This is really annoying!

I could play until 2 days ago and nothing (on my side) has changed since then. I'm playing on latest Windows 10 (1703), tried a reset and reinstall of the game, restart computer, checked my router... nothing helped!

I wouldn't mind playing offline, but nothing is saved this way.

 

I had the exact same problem since last week, but today i tried again and the synchronisation finally went through and my saves are back!

I have no idea what made it work today, i did install the latest windows patch since my last try and i also was at a different place and connected via LAN instead of WLAN... But more likely ms just fixed this plroblem from their end, hope it works for everyone
again now!

 

It seems it is fixed now, just logged on and it synced and i got my save.
