Ordered Series X from Microsoft site (Customs, cancellation)

I ordered a Series X to Ireland from the Microsoft site. Will I need pay Import Duties or Customs charges on it when it arrives?

If so, is it possible to cancel an order once it's already been dispatched?

It would depend how it's shipped. If it's coming via Northern Ireland then there shouldn't be any additional fee's.

It's coming from England, so maybe there will be - all a bit up in the air. Especially since I ordered from what was ostensibly an Irish site. Pretty dubious that the console could be shipped from England without my consent incurring unto me the customs
charges therein.

I'm in the Republic of Ireland, ordered it from Microsoft.com/en-ie/ and it's being shipped by UPS from the UK, so I'm pretty confused as to what the Customs situation will be.

Hi,

Depends what country you're in. If you're in the United Kingdom, the transition period following 'Brexit' has ended, which means you will have to pay VAT and possible import and duty fees before the courier will release your order to you.

You can't cancel it after it's shipped, but you can return items.

When you look on the Microsoft store for Series X pre-orders it clearly states a limit of `one order per customer`.

Something is so sadly wrong as there is a seller on a well known auction site who is listing 15 pre-order consoles up for auction.

I think Microsoft needs to look into what has been going on.
