Ordered a new power supply; no supply sent and issues with customer service disagreements and ...

Good afternoon!

On 9/21, I ordered a brand new power supply to replace my current power supply, and was given a 10 business day shipping time. On the 10th business day, I realized I had yet to receive an email about the supply shipping so I went to the customer support
live line. The person on the other end told me that my original order never processed (even though my card was charged), so I should go ahead and cancel my first order and order a new power supply.

I ordered a second power supply and went to cancel the first one, only to find an error in cancelling the first one. At this point now, I have two charged to my card, so I went to customer support again for help cancelling and getting a refund. The new person
told me that the first one had been processed and I should not have ordered the second, but that he would have the advocacy team would contact me within 3 days about a refund on the first order and to leave the second as is.

I realized that as a college student, their phone calls would probably go unanswered as I am in class a lot, so I tried to call the phone support line to figure this out. The man on the other end told me the other two people were wrong and to cancel the
second order and let the first ship.

At this point, I just want a refund on one of them and to have the other ship, as it's now been over 2 weeks and I'd like a new power supply. I went through Microsoft so I could get the real deal and not a cheap knockoff power supply, but after 3 customer
service members giving me different answers and having 2 orders open because of it, I'd like to have this problem resolved as quickly as possible with the money returned to my card. I've been a loyal Microsoft customer for over a decade, and this fiasco has
been incredibly disappointing for me.

Still waiting for my XBOX one power supply replacement!!

I am not one to complain, but I spent almost $800 on a new XBox One console and games for Christmas. The power supply failed after only a month of use. I created a Service Request on 2/16/2014. It is now three and a half months later and I still don't
have a replacement. Customer service has now suggested that I purchase a new power supply rather than continue to wait for my replacement because they can't even find the one I sent in and don't have record of ever having received it. (For the record, I
still have the UPS receipt as well as electronic confirmation that the package was signed for.)

I caved in under mounting pressure from my children and ordered a new power supply through customer service. I pray that the same folks that lost my original shipment are not the the ones responsible for sending me my new power supply.

Xbox 1 Will Not Turn On!

I had exactly the same problem (the power button and eject button made a noise when pressed but the console didn't start) I sent my console the the xbox repair centre, paid £100 for the repair but when it came back it was still the same wouldn't start up!
I talked to support and they said its probably the power supply so i paid for the console to get fixed and there was nothing wrong with it. I got a full refund and I've ordered a new power supply so my advice would be to try a new power supply

 

Sorry to hear that you're having trouble. Unfortunately you'll need to continue dealing with phone support as they are the only ones who can deal with billing issues.

People who post here are only gamers like yourself and don't have access to the tools needed to sort this out.
