Anyone ever thought about using the Optishot Golf pad as a usb controller to play golf games with real clubs?

I've never heard or read about anyone using such a device, at the price point those go for, seems like a risky move too. I did a Google search and nothing came up for connecting one to an Xbox either. Though I did see the manufacturer say they are looking
at doing something for consoles, though this was a few years ago.

I can only imagine clubs going through TVs, like a certain other home console that uses remotes, motion, and aa lot of flailing.

I. Have one running on my surface 2 pro 8 and a projector, a screen that is 8'x8' that I hit the ball into. Had it main for $198.00 I use it on my patio. I also use the screen setup to play my X box 360 games on.

You don't aim at a tv. They impact screen is the TV screen and it will do front or rear projection.

I wasn't really asking if someone did it but making a multi million $ Idea to have a usb driveer us use it as a controler like the car racing, and flying specialized controler. Who many golfer do you think would buy it for winter time. Had to golf in the
snow. Just a thought.

These devices would not be compatible with the Xbox format as they lack the drivers to connect to an Xbox and there is no support on any game either. It would be a little more entailed than just having a driver, the games would also need to have support
built in or patched in. With the limited market for such a device, this isn't likely to happen. Right now the closest you are going to get to something like that on the Xbox would be Kinect Sports and Tiger Woods games that have Kinect support.
