Option to turn off Predictive Text

Hi,

My 8 year old and I play Minecraft and I secretly use it as an education tool ( as well as being a lot of fun ) especially with respect to mental maths and coding.

However, the predictive text is limiting my ability to encourage self spelling. Essentially as soon as my lad sees the word he wants he chooses it rather than completing the spelling.

I am asking, as a parent who loves playing games with my son on our xbox:

Please give me the ability to turn off predictive text.

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. Unfortunately, there isn't a way to turn off predictive text on the Xbox One. However, you can get your voice heard by posting this idea on the correct forums so the right people can see it and others cant vote up
on your idea. You can post in two locations:

Predictive text is only suggesting words...it's not auto populating the text box. You don't have you to use it but you cannot turn it off.
