Option to Sign In on Xbox App doesn't work

Recently opened the Xbox App on my PC to use Game Pass, all the installed games have disappeared and I've been signed out. The option to sign in doesn't work, it doesn't crash the app or give an error, it just does nothing. I've tried signing in multiple ways like through the app itself or through right clicking on the start menu and nothing. The games that were previously installed are still on the hard drive and I can still open them if I run the .exe so there must be some sort of check being performed.

I've tried repairing the app and un/reinstalling it with no success, I can play games on the cloud via the mobile app but that's only half the service I'm paying for. I've done all the usual recommended fixes such as checking the correct services are running, redownloading gaming services via powershell admin etc. but no luck.

Anyone else experienced this or have a fix? I don't want to cancel but what's the point keeping something that doesn't work!

"First of all, I deleted and uninstalled all the Xbox accessory apps as 'daviderenzi1' said. All the cmd and powershell things.

And then I re-install and reset the Xbox app on Microsoft Store. Still it didn't sign me in.

I found that after erasing all the accessory apps, they are not installed after re-installing Xbox app.

So I downloaded the .reg files from here "Restore Default Services in Windows 10 | Tutorials (tenforums.com)" (I don't know whether it is safe or not to download .reg and install it, but I just wanted to fix this so yeah I did a jump of faith here)

And installed all 4 registries, rebooted AND VOILA! Xbox app signed me in!

Try this: Windows key > Settings > Apps > Apps & Features> Xbox > Advanced Options> Reset

Restart your pc afterwards and try again

If you are unable to sign in to an Xbox account on your Windows PC, you should be able to fix the problem by starting the application from an administrator account.

According to users, the application needs an administrator account in order to initialize properly.

I had only one account and it's administrator. It's my main account.

I did things in the link, but it didn't fix the problem, Sign In windows still not opens.

That link doesn't work for some reason. The only option on the app is a 'Join' option. But I've been getting updates for a few months now so its as if the app has forgotten the console is signed to the program.
