Option to install game-pass games on PC in specific (chosable) language

Hi guys,

I just subscribed to XBOX Pass PC version to check this subscribtion and games.
I just installed Frost Punk and I wanted to change the language - unfortunately this option is not available in the game options (when searching on the net for this option - on screen shoots - it should be there). My guess is that the language should
be changed in XBOX (Beta) - where will I find this option? BTW - Windows 10 is set to the Polish language.

Are you sure that this game have Polish language?

There are multiple factors that might or might not allow you to change a language.

First of all: The game has to have the specific language installed. Depending on the game, some games ONLY have one language built in (even if it's available in different languages around the world). If that is such a game, there is nothing you can do.

If the game DOES HAVE the different languages (and English is usually always present, if it's a multi-language installation), then it depends on how the game chooses the language.

Most modern games (and games that come from consoles) try to detect the language from the settings of the Operating System.

So if you run your Windows 10 in Spanish, the game will automatically be in Spanish.

Some games do have settings to override that automatic setting, but not all games do have that option. If the game does not have the option to change it, and you are SURE that the game has the English language pack installed, then you need to change the
language of your Operating System.

****? I can't install from Xbox Game Pass PC either. I went to Ubisoft launcher to get it and English isn't one of the install languages. **** is going on

Usually the games language settings depend on your device settings, so if you set your device/ Xbox app language to English, it should be the same in game. There are games that will let you select a specific language upon installation or you might have to download them again depending on how the developer packed the different language files. There are also games that are developed with languages depending on the region of the game. However, in your case, I recommend contacting the game developer for options to change the language settings of the game.
