option to exclude players with poor connections from match making

I'm pretty sure this was on option on the original xbox but wasnt on the 360. how ever I would like to see it on the xbox one most of my bad exp online is playing with people with poor connections, and this should get the ball rolling, hey MS IM willing
to pay extra for a xbox live platinum if it allows me to exclude gamers with poor connections from match making....huh ya you smell that money ms lets get to it!

xbox ping issues

From what I understand, it's the fault of the Developers. They created a Match Making that intentionally groups Players with terrible Ping Rate to Players that have high to excellent Ping Rate in order to compensate for those
that have a poor Internet Connection speed.

 

I want an option to opt out wifi connected consoles when match making

I would really really really like an option to exclude wifi connected consoles for online multiplayer, I only want to play with other people who have there consoles connected by hard line to the network. The lag in some of the online matches is just atrocious and
I know its not my connection based on what the xbox one is telling me and external line checks and speed test so if its not me and its not ms and xbox live then it has to be the other players and the wifi connection and the tethering of xbox ones to mobile
hot spots. I know it may take longer to find matches but so be it I want quality over quantity at the very least an option to exclude consoles with sub par connections!!!

 

They wont include the ability to exclude people from matchmaking just because of their connection speed. If they pay to use Xbox LIVE, it wont matter what their speed is. You can't exclude them just for their connection speeds.

 

You miss the point, they arnt excluded from match making I just dont want to be matched with people with poor connections this was something that was available on the original xbox, it even came with a disclaimer that match making times could be increased
but at least everyone had a solid connection and the longer wait time resulted in better game play, im sorry my ADD isnt as bad as everyone else is, id rather have better game play than more game play, with the wide range of internet speeds available i really
only want to play with other people who have the same good connections and not some stooge who has his xbox one tethered to a wifi hot spot or some public wifi, they wanna watch netflix or youtube fine but when it comes to online multipalyer put the slow kids
with the slow kids and the fast kids with the fast kids its not to much to ask like I said it was an option on the OG XBOX

 

It seems more likely that game designers themselves could implement something like this, as it's not really a Microsoft problem.

I know in Battlefield 4 for PC users in a server have a "ping bar" next to their names to show their connection speeds, but it doesn't stop a user from connecting to a server.

 

ok this has got to happen, i am sick and tired of playing people with horrible connections. I know for a fact its not on my side, im sure the majority of the red bars i see is due to wifi connections vs a hard cable connection which is how I am set up. where
i live my xbox pics up 20+ wifi signals from free hot spots to every personal wifi signal within about a 1/4 mile radius not to mention im sure these people have multiple devices using wifi at once phones tablets printers tvs you name it. all tho this maybe
great for netflix or watching twich or streaming music or what ever else ill tell ya the one thing it shouldnt be for is online multiplayer so where do i need to post this or who needs to be made aware that some people would like to see this as a personal
settings option in the menu like it was way back on the OG-XBOX. because now im at the point where i just block anyone with a red bar connection, or that i experience multiple lag events with while playing.
