    Option to disable quick resume or fix it


    it sounds good in theory buts it’s the worst thing to happen to online xbox games, because closing game doesn’t turn off quick resume for it so if I play an online game I need to keep force turn off my console a few times for it to actually quit the game and allow me to use network features (witch is really bad for it but is the only fix so there’s no one to blame but the software).

    The latest game I’m referring to is minecraft witch is Microsoft’s biggest game probably so why does it not support Xbox s/x? anyways since it try to use quick resume to join i loss online Xbox login until I close game but when I open it says cannot connect to server and still no online access and the only fix to this is to force unplug console a minimum of 2 times! after that I’ll try a few more and if I doesn’t work than I give up and go on my ps4 witch it’s quick resume for single games keeps online ability witch is very helpful compared to the entirely of quick resume

    How much would it cost me to have quick resume disabled on my Xbox?

    Disabling quick resume is being explored, but there is no ETA on when it will happen or even if it can. Quick resume is baked into the hardware at very low level and may not be able to be disabled.

    Hi,

    This has actually already been requested over on the reddit platform, but you certainly add your comment there too.

    For the games I mainly play, quick resume works fine, but these are mainly single player titles. I can certainly see the issue you've been having with this on multi-player games.

    Seems odd that this feature isn't there yet. Afterall, features such as 'Auto HDR' are available per game. Wouldn't be hard to implement at all.
