Discus and support Option to Auto Sign in not available ? in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I have checked I have the latest update installed but I don't see the option to sign in automatically I have followed the instructions found in...     Option to Auto Sign in not available ?


    I have checked I have the latest update installed but I don't see the option to sign in automatically

    I have followed the instructions found in various places on the web, there should be an option under the preferred video provider as in this link

    Strangely I have nothing under the preferred video provider

    Any ideas what's happening ?

    Any help much appreciated

    How do I turn off Auto Renew?

    Hey, for some reason I'm not getting the option 'Turn off auto renew'. Only option available is 'Cancel'.

    An error occured cancelling automatic renewal.

    Hey there King, as you mentioned, that video is over three years old, posted before the ability to cancel auto-renew online was made available. Option to Auto Sign in not available ? :) The option to cancel auto-renewal online should be available to all members, however, if there are complications
    with your billing account, the option must not be available. For those users that receive an error message trying to cancel auto-renewal on Xbox.com, a call to phone support is necessary, I'm afraid.

    Option to Auto Sign in not available ?

    From the home screen, press the menu button on your controller (that's the one with the 3 horizontal lines on it), then go to "settings" - from there, choose "sign in, security, and pass key" on the left and there is where you will find the auto-sign in
    option in the middle of the screen. Hope that helps! Option to Auto Sign in not available ? ;)

    Not automatically signing in to Xbox LIVE anymore.

    Alright try this out:

    1. click the Xbox Guide button.
    2. Once it is up, scroll to the right hand side and you will see the option "Profile" at the top.

      Click profile, then go to the bottom to Sign-In preferences
    3. once you get there you'll have two options the top one should be Profile Auto sign-in (that's the one you want) and the bottom option will be messenger auto sign in.
    4. Turn on Profile auto sign-in and there you have it.

    When you do this you have to be signed on to the account that you want to auto sign in. If you want to turn it off in the future you go through the same process.

    I hope this works for you.
