Option button shuts down whole app

Hello,

I can not open options in xbox app, because whenever i click option button, whole app just close itself. Don't know how to fix it, please help me.

Cannot uninstall iHeartRadio

Not only cannot I not uninstall this app but somehow my XBox button is now set to open this app when held down instead of giving me shut down options. I know how to uninstall apps and restarts or shut downs do not help.

Repeating downloads?

Have you tried rebooting the console?

Just hold the power button for about 10 seconds until the console fully shuts down and light on power brick turns orange.

Then switch back on.

There is also a restart option in the settings app.

Sorry to hear it. Please try powercycling the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds till it shuts down. If that does not help then try a factory reset. There's an option to keep installed games and apps and your saves will be safe
on the Cloud if you choose this option.

I also cannot uninstall or install games or apps. Also, when I hold the home button on the controller. It does not go to the options of shutting down the console or controller. But instead opens the side bar to the left.

Can you try pressing the Guide button to go back home when this happens and then highlight the app and press the Start button on the controller then choose Quit. If that doesn't work try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts
down.

Post back if either of those options worked for you.
