    Opting Out of Xbox Preview Program


    I just recently opted out of the xbox preview program and I'm wondering if after I have been unenrolled will I be able to talk to my friends in party chat? Also when the official update comes out if I have bugs will the bugs stay or will they be gone and
    do I delete the xbox preview dashboard too?

    Things are slow at weekends so I would say most would be like us at home with family.

    Reseting to factory default by itself

    Are you currently in the Insider/Preview program, or have recently opted out of it?

    If so, the Xbox is subject to factory resetting itself to new preview updates (if you're still in the program), or the latest public OS release (if you've opted out).

    Hey there SoferDark.

    To opt out of the Preview Program you'll need to launch the Preview App on your Xbox One and opt out from there. It may take a few days to register on your Xbox One but keep an eye out.

    Problem With party chat and latest update.

    Is your console used? If so, the previous owner may have been in the preview program. If it is not, the preview program isn't completely random. you have to be invited by a friend, and then approve membership by downloading the preview app and opting in
    to the update. If you want out of the program, you can opt out in the Preview app. Go to Registration, Change, and then you can completely opt out of the program, or opt out of the New Xbox One Experience. However, this will factory reset your console, which
    will cause you to have to reinstall all games and apps that are on the internal hard drive, so I would move them to an external drive if possible.
