Try a hard reset of the xbox hold the home button for 8 seconds till it completely shuts off and unplug the xbox for 5 minutes tyen forget your network and try reconnecting

What does optimum mean? Do you know the optimum settings for the q70r maybe? I used rtings recommended settings.

You could order a replacement brick to see if it corrects the problem. I know that is not an optimum solution but it is an alternative to driving to the MS store. However, I think I would take it to the store, console and all and let them test it there.
