Optimizing HD content, Couldn't store HD content to the Xbox 360 Hard Drive

Just picked up the game today, popped it in, downloaded the update, and bam! An error message popped up Optimizing HD content, Couldn't store HD content to the Xbox 360 Hard Drive. I cleared my HDD cache, and tried again, same thing. I have 20 GB of free
space on my Xbox HDD I have the slim. I have been searching this issue online and the only thing I saw was a troll post on the EA HQ site. I have tweeted to xbox support and they asked if I installed the game, turns out Titanfall does not have an install feature...So
I feel stuck...this has never happend before, and I have no issues playing any other games. I play Battlefield 4 regularly as well

my issue is when I go to select the hard drive it say that the device is not allowed and permits installing hd content on the 360 hard drive. I don't care to see the hd content, I just want to play the game

 

Battlefield 4 can't get it to load

My xbox360 tells me that devicenot allowed.

The game only permits installing hd content on the xbox 360 hard drive.

What do I do.

 

Seem's in the TF forums, that people having this issue have a deffective disc, try returning/exchanging it.

 

Does this work, I just assumed it didn't have the option which ive never seen since crackdown, its doing my head in though I install all my games I hate my discs running because of the noise but mostly because of general ware!

 

For me It optimizes HD content every time I boot the game, although I don't get an error message it just gets annoying having to wait for it every time I launch TF.

 

I have had it once yesterday I think, I bought the game for my 360 on release day??

 

See I did it backwards, why would ya update a game thats not installed yet, so I back out of the update, let the game run, [which installs the HD stuff on the hard drive] then I let the game update after a reboot.

 

Just wanted to update this post because almost everyday I have to redownload the HD content, does this happen for all players on Xbox 360? I tried unplugging items from the USB ports (flash drive and TB headset) clearing the cache and deleted my saves from
the game and reinstalled HD content and still didn't work, would be great if it's just not me lol.

 

NO, the only time I get the "Optimizing HD Content" is after a title update.

 

@BL4CKOUT it's not just you. I've tweeted to BluePoint and Respawn about this and I don't get a reply back. Very annoying yes.

 

Hi everybody I got Titanfall a day ago and I was just playing, then my mum went past and triped on my internet cable and made my Xbox 360 fell from 10cm high, then the consol freezed. I tried restarting the consol 5 times and each time I played a match it
freezed 20 seconds in. So I looked up on youtube on how to stop the freezing and found that I should clean the system cash and did so, then I started Titanfall again and "Optimized the HD content" but when the loading was done the error "HD content was unable
to store to the hard drive" came up, I tried again and the same thing happened.

I don't know what to do anymore SOS !!!!!!!!

 

my xbox crashed why playing tf so i cleaned the xbox and i got to play a game i come off for my tea and then when i tried to play tf again i get couldn't store hd content to xbox 360 hard drive so i formatted my hdd and re done my profile and still having
same problem anyone help to sort this out please thanks

 

go into your system memory and clear your content cache. insta-fix.

 

this is crap....all this money for this...i have changed my disc 6 times now an still get this problem im sick of it now
