    Hello, I'm using optical cable for surround sound. I have an odd feedback through my speakers when I have my Xbox set to Bitstream out. Stereo uncompressed is clear, but I was looking forward to surround sound. Any ideas would be great.

    While playing, I have a headset. Im wanting the surround for movies and shows. But I'm gettingnan odd feedback through my speakers and can't seem to find the right selection.

    xbox is generally stereo for most games

    surround is more a feature in movies

    Turtle Beach X41 Compatibility

    I appreciate your feedback, guys. It seems any optical cable will work. I was just worried that my transmitter had its own Turtle Beach-produced cable and that any regular ones sold in stores wouldn't work.

    Optical cable connects Xbox and transmitter, adapter allows chat. Everything is working perfectly.
