Opinion on the Xbox One stereo headset adapters? Any Advice?

My design lab controller's headset jack is a lost cause and I never purchased a warranty or anything for it. A friend suggested that I get a xbox one stereo headset adapter. I have seen them at a local gamestop, preowned for 45 dollars. That is almost the
price of a new controller.

Is it worth the price? I have never used one before. Any suggestions?

To give you an example of how durable they are, I bought a Turtle Beach headset back in 2013 on release day for the Xbox One. I still have that same headset and the adapter that came with it and they both work fantastic.

If you can find a Microsoft Adapter then I recommend you pick it up. They are more than worth their weight in gold

I have always used an adapter and have never had an issue with mine.

Since third-party products didn't work. I would highly advice that you get the Xbox One Headset Adapter instead. This will be a one time cost but should definitely work.
