Operation Flashpoint: Red River, not available for download?

So anytime I try to download Operation Flashpoint: Red River, it just brings me back to the main screen for the game. If i look it up online, I only see the avatar items and 1 DLC item for download and not the actual game. I managed to look it up through
the xbox app on windows 10 and when it brings me to the game page for download, it says "not available in your region". Is there an issue with how this game is hosted for download? I am in the Eastern US and never had an issue like this. I loved this game
and would love to download it again.

Why can't i buy Operation flashpoint Red river. It always says it's unavailable Is it only available through Disk?

 

It looks as if the game hasnt hit the store as a digital download just yet. It should eventually, likely soon, as backwards compatibility so recently was announced for that game. If you have a disc, then you would have no trouble.

I don't think that's the case, as I can clearly see it in the Xbox one section and it says games on demand version. I can click "see price". It then brings up the confirm buy screen and can hit continue but then a navy blue screen pops up for a second that
says "this offer not valid in your region" and then closes.

 

Were you trying to purchase it on the xbox itself? Or through the website?

Because the store on the site still has yet to list the game itself, just the dlc content and avatar gear.

Thanks for posting! For that specific title, a disc is required to play in all regions (excluding Japan). You can see this called out on the

Backward Compatibility List on Major Nelson's blog as well. Hope this helps clear it up!

 

That's kind of misleading then as the site you linked says "games on demand" in its list as well as in the store.
