Opening Xbox App signs me out of console I'm using and into home console

When you open up the Xbox App, are you purchasing our downloading any titles? If so, it may be signing into your Xbox One home console and downloading the content there, which is leading to you signing out from your husband's console.

sign into his pc account, open xbox app and sign him out of it, sign in with your account, download game, sign yourself out of the xbox app and back in with your sons and then he can play it on his account. if for console then add your account to the console and make it home, then he can download the game from his profile on the console.

If you still have switches, I'll suggest you perform a factory reset keeping games and apps on your dad's console and then perform the home Xbox set up again.

A factory reset keeping games and apps will refresh the console and remove all potential bugs without deleting any game data.

- Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

- Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

- Select Reset console.

- Choose Keep Games and Apps

Once that is done, you'll need to sign into the console using your Microsoft account credentials. If the issue is with your console, that should fix it.

You have 2 accounts and 2 consoles. Let's call them Account A, Console A and account B, console B.

Account A has the subscription and B does not. A should sign into Console B and make it his Home Xbox and then sign out of that console and let account B sign in.

Doing that, account B will have access to the subscriptions and games on account A's account and they can play together.

The issue with gamesharing often happens when the account with the games/subscription doesn't sign out after making the other console his Home Xbox, but once it's signed out, the other account can sign in and access everything.

To designate an Xbox console as your home Xbox;

• Select Make this my home Xbox to designate the console as your home Xbox.

No only the ultimate account can roam

HOWEVER you aren't doing it right.

Home console only applies to consoles not pc

.however you can use the ultimate account to sign into the xbox app and download the games

.then sign out of the xbox App and sign in with the non ultimate account on the xbox app
