opened nat but can't join certain friends

hi,

a friend and I have an opened nat but still we can't join each other in a xbox live friend group (party?)but we can join someone else group, i got this problem with him only, we can also play battlefield 4 and gta 5 in the same session but not Black Ops
2, which we find really weird, i enabled UPnP, DMZ and opened ports on my router, so i really don't know what to do know. So i hopesomeone can help us with that.

Can't join certain friends' Xbox Live Parties and games.

This problem has annoyed me ever since I got my Xbox. My NAT type and my friends' NAT type is open and I can't join certain friends' parties or games. The only way to join them is if someone I can join is the host of the game/party. The only game that I'm
aware of that I can join those certain friends is GTA V, but other than that, I can't join them. Also, I could join some of those friends before but now I can't.

 

Unable to join friend on some games but can we both play multiplayer

On certain games I can't join my friend. We both have open NAT types and can join others, it's only eachother we can't join. On some games (BF1, Rainbow Six: Siege, etc...) it's perfectly fine with little to no problem. But on certain games (GTA: Online,
Warframe, and a few others) we can't join at all. This especially prevalent in GTA: Online, where if I try to join him, it will disconnect him from the session and not allow him to join back, if I'm able to join at all. I appreciate any form of help as I really
want to play with my friend

There is an issue with the Xbox Live Service at present which can be viewed here:
http://xbox.com/status

I suggest that you wait until that issue is resolved before attempting to connect to your friends. If after the status has changed and you still cannot play then please come back to us here.
