From what I've seen of gameplay its very much like Ark Survival, just without the dinosaurs (obviously)

Oh and apparently the nudity is being removed for the console release.

Less exited for this game now that the full nudity feature is being removed. That was a unique thing for conan exiles in my eyes. sets a bad precedence for future gaming where industries block developer features that are unique to themselves cause of rating
policies for each country. to buy a game that is watered down from pc to console is in injustice to us console gamers. at the very least give me that options to buy the intended version of the developer vision of conan exiles rather than a unintended version
that xbox would like to sell.

I've heard you can buy the game when it releases, not download it, and use a VPN to get to the European version and download it. That should get you the version you want. They just can't sell that version in the states.

Dude, advocating the use of a VPN on a public forum administered by Microsoft is pretty much a violation of their Terms of Service, so consider your post reported. Additionally, the latest word is that the EU version is uncensored, and there's a game preview
available on August 16. I'd be curious to check it out, although living down under, I'm not sure where the boundaries lie for this version. Time will tell, I guess.

It's only the North American version that is censored from what I've read & I think it's only "man parts" that are censored.

The game officially comes out tomorrow. Why would they send keys out on the date of release? They have already done that the game is currently being streamed as of now, since last night.

Same guys who made the "Age Of Conan" MMO on PC.

I expect it will be more like "Ark" where you're in the world and have to survive rather than "Dark Souls".

When "Ark Survival Evolved" releases as the full version it's supposed to have a "Lone Survivor" mode where you have to do it all yourself.

Conan the Barbarian is a character from the 1930's created by Robert E Howard in his swords and sorcery pulp fiction novels.

Brilliant read even all these decades later.

Had a huge revival when they cast Arnold Schwarzanegger as the lead in "Conan The Barbarian".

In fact even today most people consider "Conan the Barbarian" to be the definitive "Conan" though that film was to Robert E Howard's character what "The Witcher" video game series is to Andrzej Sapkowski's novels: Inspired non-cannon Fan Fiction.

Over the years there were the Marvel Comics and some absolutely beautiful black and white art in the Magazines (Savage Sword Of Conan).

The covers would often feature a scantily clad woman in distress. Sometimes the stories wouldn't even contain a scantily clad woman. Amusingly a female editor once replied to a customer query (they used to print letters and replies at the backs of the
magazine) "Why did issue X have a scantily clad woman on the cover but not in the story"? To which she replied "Because we seem to sell more copies when we put a scantily clad woman on the front".

One of the things that makes the Witcher series so successful is that it's not the game of the film. It's based on a series that's been around for years and has a solid foundation as far as the world that it is set in and everything else goes.

A Conan game should benefit from the same ability to draw upon the rich treasury of decades of fiction that has preceded it.

Should be a great game.

What could possibly be more entertaining than 'people hitting other people'?

Obviously "People hitting other people with swords"!
