Open NAT

    I have an open NAT and my friend has an open NAT but we are still unable to join each other's games. What could the problem be and how do we fix it?

    Router capable of open NAT?

    I have the Home Hub 3 but the software is diabolical. I have the newer software with the bugged port forwarding that is not going to be fixed. Bah.

    Router capable of open NAT?

    Anyone any suggestions on a good router for BT Infinity that's capable of running two XB1s and an X360 at the same time with an open NAT on all of them? The Home Hub 3 just throws a wobbler no matter what way I set it up.

    Thanks to MS and BT being useless kants I'm going to have to spend yet more money just to do something the 360 already had no problem doing. Getting a bit sick of this shoddy arsed console now but that's for another thread.

    Try resetting your router or running a test xbox live connection that sometimes opens it aswell

    I plugged my xbox directly into the modem and I can connect to people I was never able to before, I checked for updates for firmware there were none available. I am using both port forwarding AND DMZ.

    Had a moderate NAT with a Virgin Media Superhub after years of an open NAT on the 360. Easily fixed with the key being to make the Xbox One have a static IP address and then forward the ports listed above for that IP address. The IP address is fixed under
    network settings on the console itself. The ports are forwarded by logging into your routed. Portforward.com is very helpful.

    As crazy as this seems it's true, if my Xbox One is on fast start up with the power brick light always white it has strict nat, if it's on slow mode (as I call it) lol, power brick light from orange, green screen and a slow start up my nat is open, pretty
    weird.
