    I have the same issues too except my Xbox 360 and Xbox 1 is connected wired to a router that is then connected to my my modem, wired also. My router wireless capability is disabled.

    I only have the team chat and fire team chat issue, (can't hear anyone and they can't hear me in Destiny). Party chat works fine in Destiny. It is the only chat feature that does. All other games' multiplayer works fine. I also want to know how to permanently
    set my Xbox 1 NAT to Open. Every time I set it, it stays there for that session, but if I turn the Xb1 off and come back again it goes away. Xb1 is set to standby BTW, not a cold boot each time.

    Just to sort it out:

    Are you trying to chat with the headset or the Kinect? Or isn't both working? Do understand it correctly, that party chat IS working, only ingame chat makes problems?

    Are you having portforwarding AND DMZ configured or only DMZ? Having configured both usually may cause problems.

    Are you having anything configured for your 360 on your router? Portforwarding and DMZ can only be configured for one of them, not for both simultaneously.

    What happens if you only configure UPnp?

    So i have a problem that has plagued me since I got my xbox one on launch day. I can participate in multiplayer games, play etc. Not a single problem, except no multiplayer chat. I have an open NAT, i have set my xbox one in the dmz (all ports forward to
    the xbox1) and cannot manage to alleviate the issue. For the longest i just thought people weren't as chatty as on the 360 (come on, i know the kiddies in cod simply cant shut up so i knew it was a problem). was able to confirm with a friend in destiny not
    being able to chat with me except when in a party.

    Heres the stuff the forum sticky post asked for anyone asking a question to post:

    What Country/State/Province do you live in? Missouri/USA

    Modem brand & model number:

    Router brand & model number: NetGear Wireless N router

    How many 360 and One consoles are connected to this router?: One xbox one and one xbox 360 (not on at the same time for some testing, but usually on at the same time)

    Wired or wireless (for each console): wireless for both

    Things you have tried: (Specific port forwarding, DMZ mode (all ports forwarded to xbox1), modifying chat settings for kinect mic)

    Is UPnP Enabled? Yes/no/Unknown - not sure

    Do you have a NAT error? If so, what is your NAT type? NAT is OPEN and no errors

    Any Error Codes you encounter:

    Who is your ISP?(Internet Service Provider): Charter



    Any help is appreciated in advance because it really sucks not being able to chat with people online, especially in fireteam situations in destiny!

    Strict NAT and "Can't get a Teredo IP address" error

    I am having the same Teredo IP address error and can't party chat or play multiplayer games. I have run all of the troubleshooting on the website but nothing works. My NAT type has also always been shown as Open. I could chat and play Killer Instinct at
    midnight but would not work all of yesterday or today. Has anybody had this error with an open Nat type?

    Sounds like it might be a NAT issue

    OPEN NAT MODERATE NAT STRICT NAT

    With an OPEN NAT type, you’re able to chat with other people, as well as join and host multiplayer games with people who have any NAT type on their network.

    With a MODERATE NAT type, you’re able to chat and play multiplayer games with some people; however, you might not be able to hear or play with others, and normally you won’t be chosen as the host of a match.

    With a STRICT NAT type, you’re only able to chat and play multiplayer games with people who have an OPEN NAT type. You can’t be chosen as the host of a match.
