Open NAT is now Strict

Discus and support Open NAT is now Strict in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Connecting straight to the DSL modem and I get "Your network is behind a port-symmetric NAT." Is this an ISP issue?     Open NAT is now Strict


    Connecting straight to the DSL modem and I get "Your network is behind a port-symmetric NAT." Is this an ISP issue? I had open NAT for two days after connecting the Xbox One. Now it s strict and won't change. I have done all troubleshooting steps and
    nothing is working.

    The same Problem I had with my old router Open NAT is now Strict :(

    The Problem is: Today you play and your router takes the Ports. Next day this Ports a reserved even if you forward them to your xbox.

    If you disconnect xbox and restart your Router - the ports get cleared and you have open nat again. It´s a Router Problem. Maybe you can update to the latest Firmware if not - you have to buy a new router.

    But before you buy a new router I would test if you can use DD-WRT on Router - if yes I would try this - this Firmware does not have those Problems Open NAT is now Strict :)

    So today I started having issues with joining peoples fireteams on Destiny on Xbox one. I could join their voice parties just fine and hear them.

    I set up my port forwards about a week ago, and everything was fine, and in the network settings area, it said my NAT was open. Now today, it is saying I have a Strict NAT. I went and checked, and all of my port forwards are still there, and nothing has
    changed. What in the world is going on? and why is my xbox one saying that my NAT is strict?

    Open NAT is now Strict

    Try unplugging your Xbox One, modem and router for 30 seconds to 45 seconds. Then plug in the modem, wait 30 seconds. Once it is up plug in the router. Once the router is up running then plug in the XBOX, It should then pull the internet.

    Windows 10 can't see xb1 at all even with manual IP. Same network and everything, whats up?

    XB1 was set to strict NAT. I fixed it and it's now in OPEN. Now I can connect it to my pc for streaming. Looks like it being in strict NAT caused the issue.

    NAT switches between Open and Strict

    I switched it to Energy Saver mode and I am still getting a Strict NAT. I've turned off UPnP and my Firewall as well now. For about 5 minutes earlier with this exact set up I showed an open NAT with a Cone NAT but now it's back to Strict NAT with it being
    behind a Port-Preserving port-symmetric NAT

    You need to open your NAT settings, they are either strict or moderate. If they are either strict or moderate you cannot connect to anyone unless they have open settings.
