    Open ALL XBOX games “Backwards compatibility”


    I and my friends have had XBOX since the beginning. The first XBOX.

    We have upgraded through the years staying true to XBOX and acquiring quite a library of games. So many great memories and times. All-nighters and XBOX house parties.

    Now I recently upgraded to the XBOX Series X. It boasted “backwards compatibility”. I have been excited to play some of the over 30+ games I have not been able to.

    I am not alone when I ask “When are you going to make ALL previous XBOX games backwards compatible? I mean ALLLL of them. Not charge me again for some “Digital Update” which I have had the disc of for 10+ years.

    If you value the XBOX community and our loyalty, add ALLL previous XBOX game playability to our XBOXs. Before you say “We can’t because of a made up reason”. There are Brand X raspberries systems out there where you can play 1,000s of old games.

    I bought a 360 game only to find out I can't play it on my Xbox ONE. The at the store lied to me.

    Not all games are backwards compatible. If the game is not listed here it won't work. Backwards compatible games are being added all the time, but backwards
    compatibility is up to the publisher. So not all games will be made compatible.

    I'm sorry that's not how backwards compatibility works. This is not an emulator that just runs the game, these games of all them individually re-programmed to be Xbox one versions.

    The legal ability to do so is restricted by contractual arrangements,licenses, and sometimes technological limitations. All games that could be cleared for republishing have been cleared, And these versions of been made available for free to existing owners.
