Hi，I'm Adam and I got the same problem.

I went to the minecraft.net and decided to download the game into my mac book, I logged in, I typed my password, and it said that I can start to get a nickname. After that I clicked the open and it said that "OOPS! We could not validate your access, please try to login again. I thought that it was internet problem but when I try again, it said the same thing. So I stuck in here. I would be appreciated if you can tell me what should I do. Thank you

Please try trough a different network and in a different browser, also waiting some time could work, sometimes it's due to traffic issues, if you still can't, please try opening a ticket on their support
