    so the other day I saw this folder called "Captures".
    I looked it up and found that it was were all my
    Xbox game bar vids went,
    I also saw I could move it, so being the "dumb kid" that
    I am I moved it to a removable backup drive, then all of the sudden the drive got
    shattered along with my hopes and dreams of screen recording, because
    I found out that that is the only one of its kind, and if u delete it u can ether
    reset your computer or go
    pay to get it back but "Mario forbid" that
    there be any way to bring it back on your own!!, so really I am just
    screwed..., I wish windows would let you pick a
    new folder location, but as of now they
    still haven't thought of it
    I     guess...,

    any way if any of you other humans know "please!!!" do tell

    No, I am not able to access the original 'Captures' folder from the Videos folder in the C Drive as I moved it to a portable hard drive. I created a new 'Captures' folder in the C Drive, but the Game Bar doesn't want to recognize it as a new one, that's
    my issue. Is there a way to make the new folder a default location for new captures?

    I have a simular issue. I accidentally deleted my "Captures" folder. And now all my captures are being saved to '\AppData\Local\Temp'

    I want I created a new Captures folder in my videos, however all my screenshots and video captures are still being saved in 'Temp'
